What BPC-157 is

BPC-157 is a synthetic peptide of 15 amino acids. Its sequence is derived from a protein found in human gastric juice. It has been studied mainly in animal models, with a large share of the published work coming from a single research group in Croatia, and a 2025 review written for musculoskeletal clinicians notes how widely available the compound has become relative to the evidence behind it.
