What Cagrilintide is

Cagrilintide is a long-acting synthetic analogue of amylin, a 37-amino-acid hormone released alongside insulin that slows stomach emptying and signals fullness. Developed by Novo Nordisk, it is mostly studied in combination with semaglutide under the name CagriSema. It is an investigational drug and not yet licensed anywhere.
