Summary
A systematic review and meta-analysis of tirzepatide against placebo or standard care in heart failure and related populations. Tirzepatide was associated with a 34.3% reduction in hsCRP and a 17.6% reduction in NT-proBNP. Functional and renal results came from single trials (SUMMIT for KCCQ and 6-minute walk) and the authors call them hypothesis-generating. Registered as PROSPERO CRD42026137255.
