Comparison of the Effects of KE and AED Peptides on Functional Activity of Human Skin Fibroblasts during Their Replicative Aging
Fridman NV, et al. (2020). Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine.
Summary
A cell study comparing the KE and AED short peptides in ageing human skin fibroblasts. The KE peptide lowered markers of inflammation (IL-1, NF-kB, TGF-beta) and raised sirtuin-6, while the AED peptide raised sirtuin-1, sirtuin-6 and collagen I. The work was done in cultured cells only, with no animal or human validation.
