Summary
A mouse study of elamipretide (SS31) in cisplatin-induced ovarian damage. Treated mice recovered faster, had larger ovaries, more follicles, normalised hormone levels, less oxidative stress and better mitochondrial structure in oocytes and granulosa cells, with activation of the Nrf2/HO-1 pathway. The study was in mice.
