Intra-Articular Injection of BPC 157 for Multiple Types of Knee Pain

Lee E, Padgett B (2021). Altern Ther Health Med.

Summary

A retrospective review of 17 patients with knee pain of several causes who had received BPC 157, alone or alongside thymosin beta-4, with follow-up by telephone. Of 12 patients who received BPC 157 alone, 91.6% reported significant improvement; of those who received it with thymosin beta-4, 75% reported improvement; overall 87.5% reported relief. There was no control group. The authors note the lack of standardised functional outcome measures and the short follow-up. No funding or conflicts were declared.
