Former company and directors behind BioV8 to face court for alleged unlawful advertising of peptides
Therapeutic Goods Administration (Australia) (2026). Therapeutic Goods Administration.
Summary
On 28 September 2026 the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) announced that it has started Federal Court proceedings against a former peptide-selling company, formerly BioV8 Pty Ltd and now in liquidation, and its two former directors. The TGA alleges that between 6 June 2024 and 14 July 2025 the company unlawfully advertised peptides including BPC-157, CJC-1295 and GHRP-6 on its website and social media, including claims about treating serious conditions, which are restricted representations needing TGA approval. The TGA is seeking declarations and financial penalties and says it will continue to act on unlawful advertising of peptides. The allegations have not been decided by the court.
